- August 1: English classes in the morning. Basketball game against local students.
- August 2: Picnic in Prince's island park and city tour.
- August 3: Calgary Zoo!
- August 4: Robot and AI introduction with students in University of Calgary.
- August 5: English Drama class in the morning and hockey game in the afternoon!
- August 6: Robot and AI introduction with students in University of Calgary.
- August 7: English Drama lesson in the morning and water park in the afternoon.
- August 8: One day in Banff!
- August 9: Back to Calgary and the graduation ceremony.
Calgary Chinese Cultural Centre
The summer camp will be held by Maple Vantage Education and Chinese Cultural Centre. The Calgary Chinese Cultural Centre is a community centre dedicated to serve the Chinese community of Calgary and the surrounding area. In carrying out its mandate, it also dedicated itself to undertake educational and cultural programs to enrich the lives of all Calgarians.
Learning English
During the summer camp, all the students will be guided by the local teacher, learning western education, and it will make students enjoy studying. All the lessons will be focus on Listening, speaking, reading and writing, and the students will learn how to communicate in the real life.
Robot and Artificial intelligence
Artificial Intelligence becomes the important part of our daily life. Our life is changed by AI because this technology is used in a wide area of day to day services. During the summer camp, the artificial intelligence group will show all the concepts in this area, which can make students open their eyes and cultivate students'interests.
Traditional Western Dance
We have prepared one week traditional western dance lesson for all the girls. In the last day of the lesson, all the students will have a dance performance together.
Sightseeing
We are going to visit two beautiful tourist attractions. Calgary Zoo is home to almost 800 animals, and 130 different species. As Canada's most visited zoo, Calgary Zoo was in 2015 recognized by TripAdvisor with its Travellers' Choice Award. The other one is Banff. It is a resort town and one of Canada's most popular tourist destinations. Known for its mountainous surroundings and hot springs. All the students will take two days to enjoy all the beauty in Banff.
Sport Activites
Ice Hockey is very popular in Canada year-round and at every-level. The modern form of ice hockey began in Canada in the late 19th century, and is widely considered Canada's national pastime, with high levels of participation by children, mean and women at various levels of competition. All the students will understand the basic knowledge about Ice hockey, watch the hockey game and play hockey games.
